Family Fun

We are big Boise State fans, and for Christmas this year I got us all new shirts so we could cheer them on for the big game this year.  Kenny was late coming home (shocking, I know) so we took the picture without him.

We had a great time watching the game and an even greater time when they won!!!!

I wanted to take good pictures of our Christmas Church outfits this year, but I forgot until after church.  I had to get everyone back into their clothes, and as you can see they were less than thrilled.  *Sigh*  Maybe next year.

Too Cute!

I have found that Logan LOVES Maddie.  Not that he doesn't love the rest of us, but I'm confident that Maddie is his favorite.  He can be in the grumpiest mood and all she has to do is say hi to him and he's all smiles!  Their have been times that he seems mad at me and I hand him to her and he will calm right down.  I can already tell that she's going to be an amazing mom.  She just has this way with babies and kids.  Still, it's a little sad to think that your own baby prefers his sister over his mom:)

Logan's First Food

I've forgotten how much fun it is when you introduce a baby to solid foods for the first time.  I'm pretty sure we were all laughing the entire dinner!  Logan looks really sad in these pictures because of his clogged tear ducts, but luckily that has finally gone away.  He had a good time with the rice cereal, and did a great job at eating it.  We've started a few veggies since then and he doesn't seem impressed.  Shocker- one of my kids not liking veggies!  (Heavy sarcasm)

 And the clean up process followed.

Making the Gingerbread House and cookies- one mess that I gladly deal with!

Christmas morning the kids woke up at 3:00 AM!  We heard- "Santa came!"  Then Kenny yelled- "GO BACK TO BED!"  As excited as they were they went back up stairs until 7.

This year it seemed like Cole got everything he wanted, but he reminded me that, "Santa didn't bring me my Bumblebee Helmet."  Never content.  I reminded him that he still had a birthday coming in April and that we don't always get EVERYTHING.

Logan- opening his very first Christmas present!  And it's a BIG one:)


The big hit this year was for the girls.  They got spoiled by their Grandma and Grandpa:)  Yes- that is an American Girl doll that you see.  I have to say- I've never heard any of my kids gasp when they opened a present, but when Katie saw her American Girl doll for the first time all I heard was, "(GASP)  OH LOOK!"  I love seeing my kids shocked:)

Once unwrapped we couldn't move on until the dolls were out of their boxes.  According to Katie they needed to unwrap presents with us.

I think we all got a little spoiled this year!

New Family Pictures

I absolutely love our pictures!  It gets harder each time we add more people to them, but all the kids were great sports about it:)  We actually got some really cute ones where Logan is looking at the camera!  And some where he's not, but who cares- he's a baby:)  

Logan just chilled out and blew bubbles the whole time.

3 Months Old

Here's my attempt at Logan's 3 month old pictures.  I'm going to have a friend who did our family pictures take his pictures when he's 6 months, so I figured I would just snap a few for his photo album.  I LOVE taking pictures of him:)  For some funny reason my girls were not photogenic at all as babies- and that's putting it mildly!  They use to cry at all of there photo sessions!  But my boys are complete opposites- they completely ham it up for the camera!
