On our vacation our hotel was right next to this pier. It was fun to go out on it and the kids thought it was pretty neat to look down at the water from there.

My dad holding one of the many baby sharks! All the fisherman on the pier were catching them right and left! We started thinking about the fact that we were swimming not to far from the pier and then it occurred to us- Wonder where their mommies were? :)
We went to Fuddruckers to eat on Saturday afternoon! The kids loved it there, and it was pretty fun!

We went to the Reptile Zoo in Myrtle Beach on Saturday! It was filled with alligators, crocs, lizards, snakes, and it even had a few tigers!
Their were hundreds of alligators at this zoo! Possibly over a thousand- I didn't stop to count them:)
If you look closely you will see the kitty in the background! Cole said it was a "Big Kitty"!
It's kind of hard to see but their is a black mamba poking out from behind Cole!
We were able to catch the reptile show at the museum, and the kids got to pet a lizard (pictured below) a snake and a baby alligator! The best part was when Cole went to pet the baby alligator! He took his little pointer finger and swiped it right down the alligators back and then directly in his mouth! YUCK!!!! His Uncle Brett wanted to know if it tastes like chicken!
So, here's the big question- Real or Fake?!? he he
We had fun going to the Beach Bargain stores that they have scattered all over the place! The kids loved buying shark tooth necklaces!

The kids were so worn out by the time we were headed out on Sunday! You can just see the energy in them- ;)!
On Sunday we went and visited the USS North Carolina. It was great to see, but don't ever go in the bottom of those things! I have no idea how those sailors did it! We even had tour signs with arrows showing us the way and we still were totally confused! It took us a good hour and a half to get through the bottom of that ship, and the whole time it was hot. You had be so careful around the stairs and every single corner! The people that worked on that ship had to be small people, or they were really uncomfortable! It was really neat to see, and surprisingly the kids were really good as well.

Cole thought that the coolest thing was that there was an airplane on the ship!
Ok- so I know that this picture doesn't make sense, but we were in the bathroom waiting for Katie (of course) and Cole said - "Mommy, take a picture of me by this cool table!" It's amazing how excited he can get over a changing table! Just be glad that he didn't want his picture taken by the toilet!
It is a good thing that this ship was completely out of commission because the kids felt like pushing every button and moving every wheel within reach! Of course I have to admit that the bigger kids (aka adults) were dabbling in it a little too!

Once we got out of the bottom of the ship it was soooo bright out. The kids couldn't see anything but I still made them take a picture!

Cole took one step into the room that holds the bombs and decided that it would be a good idea to start punching them! Not kicking, not tapping, but PUNCHING them! I tried to scare him by telling him that they would blow up, but his older ( and much wiser) cousin told us that "they aren't real!" Needless to say, we won't be taking Cole by any "real" working explosives in the near future!
