Corn Maze Fun!

We went to a corn maze this September and had a great time!  This kids had fun going through it up until the point where one would yell out, "I have to go to the bathroom!"  There really should be a rule about corn mazes: 8 and under and they are allowed to go to the bathroom anywhere along the trail!  Javier was our professional navigator and we only got lost a few times... we eventually lost count. :)  Actually we made pretty good time considering we had 5 reckless children with us!

All of the kids had a great time, and there weren't alot of people so we got to take our time and enjoy the surroundings!

They have the cutest play area with a castle, a train, a huge wooden ship and a tractor racing area (ok, maybe the tractors are tricycles, but still).

This is the kids version of Titanic.  Maddie's saying, "I'm the king of the world!"

We would have Maddie in this one, but we had some technical difficulties.  (Like, "I don't want to sit on that!")

Favorite Photos

So, I'm blogging some of my favorite photos from our trip to the corn mazes a few weeks ago!  I don't have a grand camera by any means, but I'm often impressing myself by how the ones I take come out.  I don't know if anyone else thinks this, but it's always the pictures that I don't plan that come out looking the cutest!  Like this one with Cole and the bridge- I just happened to tell him to look down and I didn't even think I got it right, but it's one of my favorite pictures I've taken of him in a long time!

Ok- so the next one is posed, but not by me!  Katie loves to pose herself and then proceeds to call me over to take the picture.  She's pretty good at it!
Cole is absolutely in love with tractors, and I'm sure his cousin Jacob will love this.  Cole (of course) wanted to climb up onto it, but I was able to keep his feet planted.
Ya gotta love a mid-stride picture!  It shows the reality of the moment:)  Cole seems like he's always in mid-stride!
Ok- so this next photo is more of a joke!  I always knew Jav was a big guy, but I got a crack out of where their feet hit in this picture!!!!   

"Fwogs"

Our kids have discovered a new hobby! With all the rain this year we have had an ample supply of frogs around the house. Normally they don't come out until dark, but the kids are resourceful and they have been finding them under the basketball hoop. Everyday they go out and see how many they can catch and then they let them go under the deck. Some are huge, but we also have really cute little ones. I'm paranoid that I'm going to step on a frog one of these days!

Tropical Storm Hanna:)

This was the remnants of Tropical Storm Hanna that we got. It wasn't that bad, just alot of rain as you can see. The kids loved playing in it! They would run back up on the porch everytime they heard the thunder though! I know they looked soaked but they'd only been out for 5 minutes.

The kids actually did alot better than I thought. It took a few tries and a couple of tears, but they finally started to get the hang of it! Oh- and Kenny eventually stopped crying too!
