Katie's 8th Birthday Party

Katie was very excited to have her birthday party at the "bouncy house" place this year!  She has wanted to do it for awhile, but we normally only do big parties (with friends) every other year.  I always love having parties at places like this.  I love only having to invite people and show up with a cake.  It makes it a much more enjoyable day when I'm not running around crazy doing everything myself.  Plus I LOVE not having to clean up the mess:)!  We had a lot of fun here.  Even the parents got into the whole scene of the boucy houses.  Kenny and I raced once, I don't quite remember, but I'm sure I won;)!

I really liked the set up, and the people who work there were great. 

Kenny was given the task of finding a Birthday Cake this year, and he went a grocery store to get one.  He called me later and said he couldn't decide between a cake or cupcakes- so he got both:)  He's so funny!

Since we ate the cupcakes at the party we kept the cake for later at home.  Unfortunatly since Katie's birthday is always around or on Memorial Day it can make it difficult to have a birthday party with all her friends.

Logan Pulling to Stand

I found Logan in his crib the other day- and there he was- standing up!  He had finally pulled himself to stand!  It was pretty cute too, because he was stuck- he was holding on to the railing and couldn't figure out how to get back down.  Of course that was to my advantage because I was able to get the camera and take a few pictures:)

8 Months Old

Then a few days later he learned how to pull himself up on the coffee table.  I wasn't as excited about this one since he could hurt himself this way.  We never had a coffee table with the other kids, so this was a new experience for us.  I'm sure he'll be walking along it in no time!

Pool Boys

I wanted to get a little pool for Logan to cool off in while his siblings were jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it.  I found this cute little pool and figured it would be the perfect size.  I didn't forsee Cole jumping into it and sharing it though:) !  Of course I think Logan liked having Cole in there with him!

Cole's 5th Birthday Party!

This year for Cole's birthday he wanted to go to Chuck e Cheese. Well, since Kenny is allergic to Chuck e Cheese we searched desperately for a replacement. Luckily Kenny came up with the rock climbing idea and it was a huge hit with Cole!

I went with a Spiderman/Batman theme because according to Cole, "they climb alot!"

I found the idea for this Mountain cake in a magazine. The rocks are actually chocolates I found at Walmart. That's Spiderman climbing up the cake and in the picture above we also added Batman.



Our little Monkey! Cole had so much fun playing with everyone and climbing. There were a few times we had to pry him away from the little kid toy area though:).
