Disney World- Day 4

On the 4th day of our Disney World vacation we started the day by sleeping in!  It was completely worth it!  It gave us the little boost that we needed to have a great day at Hollywood Studios!  We arrived at Hollywood Studios and the first thing that the kids noticed we the Storm Troopers on the roof of the entrance.  They were standing up there talking and pretending to fight.  We were really excited that it was Star Wars Weekend that weekend!  I made sure that my kids watched all of the movies before we got there, and they were really excited to see all the characters.
Maddie had been anticipating the Tower of Terror big time!  That was the one ride she kept talking about and wanted to go on the most, so once we entered the park we bee-lined for the ride!  Luckily it was only a 15 minute wait, so Kenny took Maddie to go on it, while I took the rest of the kids to get a few fast passes.  Their wait ended up running a little longer than they thought, but luckily the ride was right next to the Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage show.  We were right on time to watch the show, so we headed in and saved seats for everyone.  The Grames Family also came and met up with us at the show which was amazing!  It was alot of fun to watch and all the kids loved the show.

After the show we went to a special building they had set up with all sorts of Star Wars stuff.  They also had actors there for people to meet and have their pictures taken with, we didn't feel like waiting in line, so we improvised a little:)!  Below are the pictures we took of our kids with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia in the background.

After that Kenny and Chase took Maddie and Parker on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster while Lindsey and I took the other kids to find some lunch.  We found the best place for lunch there, Pizza Planet (off of Toy Story)!  It was a really cute place with great food!  By the time we were getting our food the dads and kids showed up, and we all were able to have a fun lunch together.  Then we decided to switch, Lindsey and I were going to take Maddie and go on the big rides and the dads were taking the other kids to see Muppet Vision 3-D.  They had a great time, our rides didn't work out so well though.  After racing back to catch the rides we found out they were not working, so we had to put those off for later.  Instead we headed back to save seats at the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.  Anyone who has a little boy must see this!  It was fantastic!  We actually didn't meet up with the guys and kids at that- they showed up right before it started and sat at the other end of the stadium, but we all saw it and it was one of the best things there!

 We got to go on the Star Tours ride, which was really fun!  It was 3-D and all the kids loved it!  I think the kids rode it about 5 times- and best part is that there are 3 different videos so it's not the same every time!  My favorite time was the last time we went, when Cole ended up being the Rebel Spy!  Those who have been on the ride will know what that means!

While we were taking turns going on the Star Tours ride the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun Parade started right where we were standing!  It was the perfect location for us!  The kids all had fun calling out to the characters and watching the dancers!

After the parade a few of us were waiting for the others to finish a ride and decided to get some ice cream.  I loved getting ice cream for the kids everyday!  Of course the ice cream and popsicles we so huge that they would always get it all over, but it was still worth it!

 We went to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular- which was awesome!  The stunt shows were really fantastic and alot better than I thought they would be.  The kids loved these shows and for the Indiana Jones one we got to sit in the front row and it was awesome!
We then went on the Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and Maddie went a few times!  Those rides were really fun.  The Tower of Terror was alot worse than I remembered it- I'm pretty sure they have made it scarier :)!
After those last rides we headed back on the buses toward our hotel to get ready for our dinner that night.  The babies loved the buses, they don't get to drive anywhere when they aren't in a car seat, so they were really excited about it!

For dinner we got to go to Disney's Grand Floridian resort to eat at Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.  We had to wait a little when we got there, so we sat out in the lobby area.

Once inside the restaurant we were greeted by Cinderella and her family.  Prince Charming was there too.  It was a buffet style restaurant and the food was really good.  The kids had a good time although the babies were pretty tired that night and didn't really want to be there.  For the most part the kids hung in pretty well even though they were all tired and a little grumpy.

After dinner we decided to walk back to our hotel which was pretty close.  It was a beautiful evening and really fun to walk along the lagoon!
